Fall Semester is over
So I had 4 finals and all of them were relatively easy. But I do have two funny stories. The first was in Education 2120 a multicultural teaching course. In the class I speak up a lot but I always get the professors points and add constructive points to what he is teaching. For the final it was decided to be a collaborative exam and everyone cheered. We counted off into groups of 4 and the three girls stuck with me cheered again. That was until they waited for me to start answering questions and I informed them that I didn't study for the final. The deflating enthusiasm on their faces was awesome. I explained to them though that the way my brain works is to connect pieces together so if they started me off I would hit the home runs, which I did. The second story was just a couple of hours ago. I have this really lame class called orientation that all incoming students must take their first semester. The class is at 7 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. So I roll in at 7 for the exam to find out that it started at 6. But the best part was that I was finished in about 20 minutes and was the first one out the door. Again seeing the faces scowling at me as I walked out having finished the test they had been working on for almost an hour and a half was priceless. So now the Christmas season shall start, I am finished with shopping and cannot wait for my brother and his family to arrive. In the mean time I will be playing the latest World of Warcraft Expansion: Wrath of th eLich King and watching tv and movies that I will be downloading off of the interweb. Have a great Holiday.

Great Movie
So I just got done watching the new movie Taken. It stared Liam Neesan as a retired CIA special operative who gives up his job to start a relationship with his 17 year old daughter, doing this because his job destroyed his marriage and his ex-wife married big money. The daughter and a friend decide to travel to France staying with cousins of the friend. This is where the plot starts, the girls are "taken" in Paris and are forced into heroin, prostitution, and the slave trade. Before the kidnapping however the daughter is talking to Liam her Dad, and this is where he finds out what is happening. Liam has a warning for the kidnapper and then he is off to find his daughter. The movie comes out January 30th, but you can watch the trailer at imdb.com. This movie is so awesome, mainly in part because it is believable. I love the Bourne movies because I love the books and the character, but if there is one thing I hate is how that franchise started the shaky camera fight sequence. Liam Neesan is such a good actor, even though he isn't Arnold Swazenager you believe that he could do anything and kill anyone to get his daughter back. Watch the trailer, watch the movie when it comes out. I promise you will be happy you did.

There should be other things to do ...
So I have 3 papers to write before Monday at 5pm. All while studying up for my 4 final exams: 1 Monday, 1 Tuesday, and 2 on Thursday. The papers are the biggest concern as they are my complete grade for an online education class, don't ask me how someone can teach me how to teach through the internet but they seem to think positively about it. Anyway, I am figuring out my camera for the computer and didn't realize how sneaky it is. My brother and his family will be coming down to see me around Christmas time and I am very excited, except I am not big on holidays. Maybe being away from them will change that. I'm just not comfortable receiving gifts from people, that includes friends and family. But I love spending all of my greenbacks on those that I care about, heck even those that I don't. This is a predicament that I always get yelled at for.

The new inventions of this world are amazing.
Here we have a quick video just as a teaser. I was given a video camera as a door prize from school (some raffle I don't remember applying to), and so I thought I would use it with skype to freely video conference my brother. I then thought of this here blog and noticed I can provide videos and pictures of whatever I want. So in the future there will probably be rants and raves for odds and ends in my life. As I try to be as comfortable as possible, i will often be shirtless.

In times of extrinuating circumstances
I guess with this I will have even more things to do instead of what I should be. That's fine though. Really it is. For those of you that will never read this I don't care. And as I don't care my spelling will be atrocious as will be my writing in general. Anyway, I had wanted to do something like this a while back so I could relate my opinions about various things mainly being movies, music, tv shows, and the things that entertain me. Sadly, I didn't realize that blogging was the answer. So I have sat around moping for the last year wishing I could inform the masses. And now thanks to a post on facebook from Kyle I have found the treasure I have been searching for. I can't honestly say that I will get on this that often, if at all for that matter. But for the moment it has piqued my interest.
